Gemfish was conceived in the final months of the last millennium, but it remained in hibernation—until now. Founded by opal merchant, Justin Thomas, Gemfish was born from a desire to create a high-quality tool designed specifically for the gemstone industry.

Justin recognised the glaring gap in the market and made it his mission to fill it. The tools available were either adapted from generic lighting solutions or tailored for the diamond trade—neither truly serving the needs of colored gem professionals. 

After more than two years of rigorous testing and refinement, the Gemfish IF1 Flashlight was built. Constructed with superior optics, unmatched durability, and a 10-hour rechargeable battery, the Gemfish is crafted to enhance clarity, reveal inclusions, and give gem cutters and traders the accuracy they need.
